Kasch is 2!

When I first met Kasch, this is what he looked like. That was two years ago. Where did the time go. Look at him now.

This was last year when Kasch turned one. Still a cute kid.

Look at him now. Pretty cute. We had so much fun running around the park chasing each other. Plus his parents and I love to talk politics during the session. An all around great session.

Hannah's Sneak Peek

Today, I had a blast with Hannah in Beatrice. We went all over that town looking for some fun spots. Here is a quick peek at the images. More to come.

Senna's 6 months!

Meet Senna. It's hard to believe she's already 6 months old. She's sitting up by herself. Her little personality is really coming out. Amazing that only 6 months ago she looked like this.

Jamicyn

This is Jamicyn. We had a blast during her shoot. She loves hockey, so we went to the Ice Box. This girl did her homework and found an awesome barn to use.

Olympia's 4!

Not sure where the time has gone, but my baby is 4. She has such a fun personality now. She really completes our lives. Here are a few of the 4 year old images.

just a taste...

Here is a small sample of what I have been up to lately. I've been super busy. There must have been a snow storm 9 months ago, because I am swamped with newborns.

I normally have the kids jump, but the moms wanted in on the action.

In the beginning...

One day, I was photographing a 2 year old. I actually knew her prior to her coming for the session, so was a little surprised when she was totally not excited about it. She was down right scared. This is a common reaction to getting your picture taken, I feel the same way most of the time. I decided to ask my daughter to come down to the studio to see if she could help. (She knew this girl as well from church.) My daughter, O, was wonderful. She would play with the girl and then I would say, "sit down." and she would sit down and pose. Well, the little girl was copying O, so she posed as well. I was able to crop O out and have great pics of just the girl. I then asked O to come sit by me. When she did the little girl started posing for me no problem. While I was photographing her, O sat beside me and said "B, smile at my mommy." Since then, I love it when she says that. So this will be my blog dedicated to my photography. I will put in a few pics from different sessions with the permission of the parents. I will also add little quips about the sessions, so every parent will know it is totally normal for the newborn to pee all over, the 18 month old will almost always scream and in every family there is a goof ball and that's okay. So to start the blog, here is a picture of my daughter from the smile at my mommy session.
